I would imagine that John felt there was too much abuse of the rep system, but Im not really sure..

You are right....John limited it because of the fact that people were acquiring badges waaaayyyyy to fast. I myself fit into that category...became a guru at day 23 of membership (If I recall correctly)

It's not that we get we get them paid out at the end of the month.

Seems kind of unfair to the people working their butts of in this period vs the ones who did before.

The rep power growing is one of the incentives that makes it kind of a game to work hard to earn them.
I am a post whore, I admit.

Sorry Kari, I mislead you without knowing it, because I was mislead to believe my rep power was 54 point for which I worked my butt off.

Not amused by this news.

Thanks mate. Went to see on what grounds you gave the rep, hoping it would be a real reason. And it was, I think that robocopy (and several other not so well known command line tools) needs to be told, not too many n00bs understand how powerful command line tools Windows 7 has.
