    Yeah,
But then we'd need new designs for XP, Vista, Leopard, Cheetah, Ocelot, Ubuntu,
    and other Unix variants...

Not to mention little green and yellow turds, for Rev_nbr, Service_pack,
MSDN/Technet/Torrent DL, Dual-boot, and the rest of the cornucopia...

Ahhh, what the hell, lets give it a try!!!
not to be biased, but this IS a WINDOWS 7 forum. all those others dont matter, in that regard. all the other system stuff (rev, ver, w/e) can still exist in the system specs. out of plain site, but still easy enough to find.
Not to be an ass but, all Operating Systems matter. Whether it be a Windows forum or not. Heck even insanelymac (OSx86 Project forums) offer support for Windows and Linux. They respect other Operating Systems, can we not show that same respect for OS X and Linux?

I am so tried of people mentioning that their tired of the badges...their tired of the rep...their tired of this....their tired of that. Every system has flaws but honestly this system made by Aaron and John (I imagine Shawn has a say also) just works...make your own system for your own forum if you don't like it
I do not think people are saying they hate it or anything, they just want to improve upon whats already here. So lets NOT start this 'if you don't like it go make a better version' crap that I am tired of seeing. A community that doesn't accept its users input with open arms is bound to fail.

Thats just my opinion though, not that it really matters these days.

No clue why but I had that feeling of Deja Vu while typing this.

    I'm off to sleep.
It is different when you offer a change you for see to be better for the system. As you know very well I offer suggestions for changes all the time to John. It is up to him if he wants to implement it. The reason behind my comment was when people complain about a part of the system and in return offer no counter suggestion...no grounds for why it is bad and etc. Its that negativity that makes the community a worse place to be. As far as your statement on Lets Not hear the crap on go make a better version elsewhere....it goes both ways...if you have a complaint than by all means make it known but be prepared to offer a suggestion

On your first statement it is true that all OSs matter...but if John wanted to truly support any OS than the Windows varieties on his forums than it would have been known

I suppose I lied when I said I was going to sleep, my show hasn't ended just yet (about 14 minutes left).

I completely agree that if you have a complaint, offer a better way/alternative to the existing thing. I just get tired of seeing people say the same thing over and over and over again. "If you do not like it then go make your own better version" well not everyones that talented with coding, as John is (appears to be quite good). While its nice to have people 'suggest alternatives' not everyone can display them.

As for the OS Support, I wasn't saying we should offer forums here or anything for them. I am just asking we show respect for the other operating systems just as OSx86 shows respect for both Linux and Windows.

Though as to the badges for operating systems, I think it is fine the way it is. That would be showing it as text under system specs. :)

For various reasons they may not be implemented, immediately, if at all, but this feedback is appreciated, and may be included in some form when possible or appropriate,at a later date.
Sorry, too tired to understand any of that. :|

It appears I taken your comment to mean that you actually wanted support here for OSX etc...I apologize for that. I agree with showing respect and I myself do so (with the occasion joke thrown at apple...who doesn't who uses PCs only?). The statement I made was only geared at folks that feel the need to complain on no basis...the ones that nick pick and feel they do it better than others.

Heh, no apology needed. My original comment seemed a bit 'pissy' which is likely do to some jackass on another thread that thought my advice was horrible (causing me to be in a .. craptastic mood, along with other things adding to that comment).

Anyways, apple is fun to make fun of. :) So is linux. I think the OSx86 community has more overall respect for Windows and Linux because all are PC-Based. If only those mac-fanboys could learn from them. :| I'm falling asleep here so I'm off, see ya.

Heres a new solution: Post this reply to your comment to distract you long enough to steal a few bucks out of your wallet.

Personally i could care less about any stinkin badges...
    YouTube - Stinking Badges

    Or rep for that matter...
In no way was i criticising the system in place...nor the hard working staff ...or the Forum itself.

I was simply stating none of that matters to me...
