I actually didn't have turkey today......the buffet we went to had prime rib, and I'm a sucker for a nice melt-in-your-mouth slab of that any time. So prime rib, penne alfredo, mashed potatoes with gravy, and apple pie.....a good healthy dinner for me.
Me & my wife ended up going to the Chinese buffet, they had a turkey, but I went crazy on deep fried shrimp & crab rangoons. There was actually quite a few people there.
McDonalds was open on T day this year and amazingly, when we went past there at 1 O' Clock, it was jam packed. Times have changed...
McDonalds on Thanksgiving. . . somehow that just seems wrong, doesn't it?
I have a Thanksgiving question. Since Thanksgiving is an American holiday, I was just curious if our neighbors in Europe were aware of this holiday or it was more of something that was not of general knowledge to most people?
