    Selective hearing Dwarf? I didn't quite get that one. :)
    You probably would hear "Dinners ready"
    May not hear "Take the trash out" or "Are you going to clean the garage"

    Undoubtedly, but when something unexpected happens to us on this side of the pond, one of our favourite expressions is: "Would you Adam & Eve it?". :)
    Hmm, I'll have to think on that one.

    THIS IS A CHILLOUT ROOM ! Yeah! I am shouting out loud as i come here to chill out and have a good mannered ribbing which should take the worry and frown creases off our foreheads! Ah,shucks, sorry for the shout!
    Hum start then by dipping your headlights!!
    Now that someone brings that up. I was trying to refrain, but those are bright. Have you got a "dimmer" version of the avatar?

    Now i am loving it!
    You should understand that Adam had no choice but to adapt. It goes like this:

    Scene: Garden of Eden

    Eve to Adam: Do you love me? ad Nauseum

    Adam to Eve : Come again? ad Infinitum;

    The Original selective listener was Adam and i have inherited that gene from him! ,When my patients(not all) say"Doc, you're charging the earth for a 15 min. consultation" ,i turn on the "selective hearing mode".
