Double parking. Not a problem here.

We have Vulture Towing. At $500+ for the tow and $50+ a day storage.
Then figure at least 5 days to find which company actually towed your vehicle and where they deposited it.
Then figure another $500+ for repairs and replacement of everything stolen and stripped from the vehicle. The towing company is not legally responsible for any damages or missing items if you are towed for illegal parking.

    Happy parking in the USA.

    Parking Officials (POs).

On our street, we have parking restrictions during the day (this doesn't bother me, as we have a driveway and garage), meaning that you are not allowed to park between certain hours. That's fine, and the POs do come round regularly to check. Nothing wrong with that, except for one thing...Yep, you've guessed. They come round in a car. And where do they park this car? On our street, where parking is restricted, often under the notice on the lamppost stating the restrictions. How hypocritical!

Don't you know that the rules don't apply to politicians, cops, etc. ? On the other hand, where should they have parked...in your driveway?

They do that and I'll give them a ticket. On the other hand, I could charge them rent, say £25 per hour (or part thereof).

Perhaps you should consider a Dale Carnegie course on "How To Win Friends, And Influence Enemies.
