+ 1 JaidynM......If your not careful and uncheck all those add on boxes you get a bunch
of garbage that you have to uninstall later.
Some still DL crapware. I installed Yahoo Msngr for my boss wife and unchecked yahoo toolbar but the dirty greedy skunks installed it anyway. Yahoo may soon fold anyway.:)

What does annoy me is sites such as CNet where clicking the wrong link (easily done in my view) gets you garbage such as a 'driver sweeper' or 'registry cleaner' that can cause mayhem on your computer.

The unaware get caught out and those of us in the know then spend hours putting things right for the unwary.

    I hate Major Geeks.
Which button is the right one?
99 wrong ones and one for the download.
You would swear it is some sadistic game show.

My old A200 dying a slow death.
It still works but it doesn't work if you know what I mean.
5 years service, dropped on it's head several times,
ugly but effective - do computers resemble their owners to?

    R.I.P A200 - I will miss you

That and their new habit of modifying the original installer! I use FileHippo, it's all very clear, older versions on the left, changelog, and no funny business. A Guy

Why would a postman ring your door bell?

Because in the UK we don't have a post box on the driveway or a long distance from the front door.

Almost every front door is fitted with a standard size letterbox through which the mail is inserted.

If an item is too big to go through the letterbox the postie will normally ring the doorbell to see if anyone is at home.
