Scalper's for Sundays football game between 49'ers and NY Giants are asking $8,500 per seat for Box Seats.
So for Twenty grand you can take your best friend or sweetie which includes parking, hot dogs and cheese nacho's.
Wonder how many taker's he got for those tickets?

Nuts is being a very polite way of saying it.
But there are those, and I am not included, that have the $ to pay for thins like this and think nothing of it.
I will sit in the comforts of my home and watch the game on TV where I can pause it and watch or record it. I have all my snacks and drinks ready, car parked safely in garage, and when it's over I don't have the fuss of getting home safely.
Life is good!

Whilst I agree with what you say, watching the game on TV does mean you miss out on the atmosphere to a certain degree.
Mind you, not having to rush back to your car then fight your way out of the car park does have its advantages.
Not so long ago, during one of our trips to Florida, we watched in horror as two numbskulls got arguing over who had the right of way after a race meeting in Daytona and promptly pulled a gun on each other.
Why do people get so impatient? 'Tis better to be late in this world than early for the next one.

You are spot on as to the atmosphere and excitement surrounding those type of events.
However, with today's crowd and there mentality or lack of, one can get the crap beat out of you by just wearing
your teams logo.
Hear too many horror stories about what goes on so I stay away and live for another day.

It's raining here now, and will be for the game. Candlestick Park is cold and windy on the best of days. The parking lot will be a lake, I could go on. A game in person is great, but I'd rather stay home and see everything on this one. A Guy
