Most of them are wrong anyway
Why didn't I think of that?

Nice one, I do like it, but the irony will be lost on the neantherdals who try our patience.

    no, Minus65 F= Minus 53.88888888888889 Celsius.:)
Yes. whs helped me with this. ""I think you got that wrong. He says MINUS 65F - that is about minus 60C""

Though is a bit extreme cold. -60C is for the north pole. BRRRR...... Is Gary eskimo?
One year we were skiing at mount snow in Vermont. They closed the slopes for 3 days because the windchill was minus 60F. Boy was that cold. Even my dogs did not want to leave the hotel for a walk.

what annoys me is an 18 year old stepdaughter who now thinks shes a hardened drinker and experienced night clubber after two evenings out and has labelled herself a "party animal"...........

and of course any advice about safety and drinking sensibly are scoffed at because she now knows it all

Good luck with that situation.....no 18-yr-old wants to listen to adults.

Julian, this is a sad situation. But I think most of us have been thru similar scenario with our kids. My son NOW tells me that I should have been tougher with him at the time. But now he is nearly 50 and faces the problem with his own daughter..
