This is not Linux forums. Win7 doesn't even like Linux much. Sorry.

What really annoys me is the system sounds in Windows. Every time you click on something, it beeps at you. I did finally find a way to turn off all system sounds. But it seems to me that the default would be no system sounds then if you like the beeping, you can turn it on. But MS has the sounds on as the default. I can not understand why anyone wants to hear a beep whenever they do something. Do the sounds annoy anyone else?

There is one Linux Forum I go to now and then and they are not very nice sometimes and if you go there and try to ask a Windows 7 question they're either going to bash you or ignore you.

    Yes.

I have used Audigy, a free audio editor, to make my own wav files for a few Windows sounds. Such as start up, The Addams Family theme and reboot, Ghost Busters theme.

You can also try another Sounds theme at rightclick>Desktop>Personalize.

I like the Delta one which comes with the US Aero theme.

You may want to reset your desktop slideshow from the theme's limited selection.

Wouldn't it be better to all visit Linux forum with Hackintosh questions?

That's one bad Apple - it's all gone pear-shaped now Steve Jobs is no longer around to take care of business.
