    Someone who clicks one button with their mouse for a
    repeating sound later to be released as "music"
    that they have "created". I hate that - that ain't talent
    I'm afraid to say.

    My "speed" {or lack of it} is dictated by Pair Gain.
    Shame on Telstra and their lack of foresight!

    {In telephony, pair gain is a method of transmitting multiple POTS signals over the twisted pairs traditionally used for a single traditional subscriber line in telephone systems. Pair gain has the effect of creating additional subscriber lines.}

    Large supermarket stores that double a price overnight then reduce the price slightly a few days later before trumpeting their "price drop" campaign is genuine.

    It's just a big con and customers are voting with their feet.

    And while on on the subject of shopping, whoever thought of self-service check-outs should be taken out and shot. The practice is dehumanising and is throwing thousands of people out of work.

    I hate them (the check-outs) and refuse to use them.

    The high price of Campbell's soup.
    It just a can of water, veggies, and a few pieces of meat, for crying out loud.

    You forgot the salt.

    "water, salt, veggies, and a few pieces of meat,"

    I think they just use sea water that way they can advertise they use "Sea Salt" in their products. A little kelp for a veggie and you have the "vegetarian" version.

    Meat version just leave everything in the sea water that was self propelled at one time.
    White stuff is "chicken" and dark is "beef".
