    When the gov up the tax / excise on fuel (petrol etc) or the banks up the interest rate on the mortgage and it is in effect immediately, yet when the rate comes off or down it takes six months to come in.

    When people feel the need to drop a stink bomb of a political or religious comment (for or against), even if tangentially related to the topic, right in the middle of a nice light hearted post on a completely harmless subject... I mean really, what do they think is going to happen, that everyone is going to pat them on the back and say "hear hear"? Truth is, regardless of the comment, half of the readers are going to instantly think they are turd in the punch bowl, even if they maybe even liked them before...

    Nah, I mean if there's no nearby tap and I don't have a water bottle. But Australia is mostly desert so you could say that...

    OOOO dear J you haven't tasted the tap water round here then - full of lovely chlorine, lime, farm chemicals (old and new) and a couple of hundred years of septic "bits" in the water table.

    I personally filter all my drinking water - glass or jug
