    Teeth are very expensive!!!!!

    Hello Friends,

I just got back from the dentist (have not been in 20yrs)
    I had a tooth ache for 4days.
today, I had to pay $2469 for ONEroot canal.
I have to go back in 3 weeks for the crown. the pain stopped in my mouth but the pain in my wallet is killing me more than the 3hrs of drilling.

No insurance, no $$$ in checking account/savings. Had a $30,000 credit line with my credit card ( I owed $22,300 already now added $2469 )

I wished I had my teeth taken care of when I had a good job

Please be advised, don't be like me and wait for a pain in your mouth B4 you go to the Dr.

how long has it been for you to see the dentist?

    stay well all,

    ~Carmine

    Want the punch line?

A root canal is not a permanent fix and can fail within days. Not common, but possible. Nonetheless, the root canal will ultimately fail. If you live long enough.

You live in the wrong country. I had tons of dental work done (over a 2 year timeframe), crowns, implants, a big bridge, etc. - and I never paid a penny. Health insurance did.

I go to the doctor every 6 months becuase my parents are health nuts like that (I cant get mom to shut up about calories).

I have never had a problem like that, but I usually have two or more cavities.
