To Footie Fans everywhere Gary Speed (Wales Manager) R.I.P

Hi all
To everybody anywhere who enjoys "The Beautiful Game" I'm sure it was with great suprise that Gary Speed (the Wales Manager) -- one of the Nicest guys you could ever hope to meet was found dead earlier --he'd hanged himself.

Wales were on the up and up -- players like Bale were exciting to watch.

Gary also wouldn't by normal standards have been overwhelmed with Money / Debt problems and there didn't apparently seem to be any domestic problems.

I'm not from Wales --but I LOVE "Footie" and this guy who everybody has a good word for was one of the best.

R.I.P to a really great guy.

Thanks for this Jimbo, listening to all the tributes that have poured in for him it's painfully obvious he was a fully paid-up member of the human race.

I think his suicide is testament to the tremendous pressure these managers are under to produce instant success.

To see grown-up men well up when they were asked about their dealings with Gary was hard to watch and must have been even harder for his wife and two young sons.

Rest in Peace Gary, football is the poorer without you.
