Mine was derived from our last name. Both my wife's maiden name and mine are almost the same. She had to add an "E" to make it official.

It's an amazing sound - can't think why it would upset your neighbours.

They've got no taste, that's all I can say. :)

Mine was given me by YouTube. I wanted KADO, my initials(sort of) and YouTube added the 897 so I stuck with it for most things.

In the 1990's I decided to get a personalized license plate for my car. It was a Thunderbird so I tried many variations of the word and they were all taken. Since my last name starts with MCK and I am kind of big I decided on BigMck since that is a hamburger also, just spelled different. It took a couple weeks for my plates to get to the courthouse. I took off work to go get them and then the big depression set in, they misspelled it. BIGMIC. == Anyway I started using BigMck on alot of stuff after that.

So, what's the story behind your Username?
Mine is pretty unique, my first name and where I live in Maryland.

Makes it easy to remember and if I forget what my name is, and where I live
    it is always there.

Imperfect, I bet you learned a lot from your mistakes as I have. Made lots of them. Some were doosies, but thankfully none were fatal.

My name RRAOD is an abbreviation for my full name Ramchander Rao Devulapally.

I used it first time to create my first web email id in 1999 and it got stuck on to me. As it is little unique, till now nobody used it before and whenever I use it in various web sites, I get it immediately.

Once I was searching rraod on internet and rroad has turned up, which means "Horrible" in one of the site Yuck
