It's my callsign while playing airsoft. Haven't played in a long time due to an injury (work related).

Back when I was getting my first dial up account in 1993/94, I wanted an email account that started with a Z. No real reason, just wanted it to start with a Z.
So I tried Zephyr and it was taken, so I tried Zepher and it was available and I have used that user name on nearly every account that I can since 1994.

A common missconception is, that my username derives from a tv show with a goofy character that talks to his .45 colt.
    That's so cute ... BUT IT'S WRONG!!
Sledge from Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer one of my all time favorites as a reference to my hands/fingers beeing too big for the average keyboard (so a tripple Yee-Haw for spell checkers :)
and DG as the first letters in my first/lastname. I started to use that name in the late 80's early 90's and stuck with it ever since.

    Yes, how absurd of us!

You are obviously named after a Viking penguin Prince.

Mine is simply an acronym for 'Quick & Dirty Operating System...'

It was once an actual DOS build...

    I knew that.
I was just wondering if you did with the Viking penguin avatar.
