    What does your USERNAME mean???

As I read through the threads and posts I am so intrigued by our posters' Usernames! Most of them are so interesting, funny, and clever, but some are downright puzzling! Would love to know how everyone came to use their own Username.

Mine is pretty obvious --- I'm the queen of imperfection! And I make mistakes ALL the time!

So, what's the story behind your Username?

In what seems like 100 years ago, when trying to get an email address i wanted pparks@something as it's my name. When that wasn't available, I tried pparks1 and it worked. Been using that forever now. So, nothing too significant...just consistent from forum to forum.

    Hopalong Cassidy.
My favorite cowboy character when I was 3-6 years old.

The first forum I signed up on had a inactive but still usable Hopalong so I added the "X".
Instead of dropping the X on most forums where I could have I just kept it consistent.

    Hopalong X.

If I explained how I got my username there is a chance I could be banned so I will leave it at that

One look at my signature should tell you how I got mine.

The aeroplane in question is the only airworthy one of its type and is one that I helped to maintain during my service with the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm in the 1960s.

I tacked 32 on to it because that is my apartment number and I don't want to forget where I live.

Mine was derived from our last name. Both my wife's maiden name and mine are almost the same. She had to add an "E" to make it official.
