    Could have been better worded


    This advert caught my eye and I got to wondering who writes these things. I left the address out deliberately.

    Lawyers will try to make a buck on anything. I bet that was a US site. In Europe you would not see something like that. Same with Doctors.

    I agree. There are bad and annoying adverts everywhere. Unfortunately, many of the good ones have been banned (at least in the UK) because they promote things for which it is no longer permitted to advertise for.

    It has to be said, though, that years ago we used to say that adverts spoilt the programs. These days many programs are diabolical, so we can now say that these programs spoil the adverts. Crazy world, isn't it?
