Thanks Dennis. That is close, but it does not have a backlit keyboard (unless I missed it). - and that is a must.

I looked and found this in specs.
Display: 15.6” diagonal widescreen TruBrite® TFT LCD display at 1366 x 768 native resolution (HD), Native support for 720p content, 16:9 aspect ratio, LED backlit

I am sure someone will find something better but this will jump start our forum to help you out!

I found this one. And in the store down the street from me they have it in stock and on display. So I am going later to have a look at it. The reviews on the webpage are very good. Seems to also have a very good screen - but I will have to test that myself.

I just wanted to double check the Satellite P755-S5265 Not only is the Display backlit, so is the keyboard.

After reading some of the reviews on the link you provided the one reviewer mentioned you could not trust Toshiba in their device descriptions.

Yeah, I just got it earlier. Seems to be a nice unit. The screen is not exactlz as good as on the Sony, but the rest is the same - except I will miss the eSata port and they have no PCI Express slot. But I saved over 500 bucks.
