hahah i know that feeling, this year we beat it, we spent a couple of hours each evening christmas week wrapping presies and all we had to do xmas eve was place them under the tree ( we couldnt place them earlier as we have a three yr old boy)

Yep, that would have been the smart way to go! No kids here, but three major family dinner parties/gifts/etc.. I also discovered that if I had ever taken the time to look at the inside of the wrapping paper, there's these magical lines ...err...grid(s) I guess! It was like a borderline Christmas Miracle to me!
Plus, I must admit - I knew of a local little shop that was open - and after 3/4 of the way done wrapping the gifts, hunched over a bed, we may have made a run and picked up 20-30 Christmas "Bags" and tissue paper. (it was either that, or a "group wrap" with a tablecloth and a twisty-tie! I chose the former.)
