    First PC?

My PC before my current one:
    emachines w3400
    AMD Athlon 3000+
    512 MB DDR (single channel....)
ATI Radeon Express 200 series integrated graphics
    80 GB HDD
    Windows XP Home

Current PC: see my system specs. Now that was one heck of an upgrade! The first week or two I had the new PC I started putting graphics intensive games on it and maxing the settings. Eventually got into OCing on it. Even though its not quite my first PC, it is the first I worked for and purchased myself and therefore to me its my first PC. Its 2 years old now. Might need a GPU upgrade soon but other than that its running great. It has lasted longer than the emachines did but that's no surprise :P

My first PC was a white box 286-10 (With 12 mhz turbo boost button!) with 640k of ram, CGA graphics card (4 colors at once!), 20 meg HD, and 2 floppies.

Upgraded with 1200baud modem, second 20 meg drive, and eventually an EGA card and 287 math coprocessor which speeded up rendering a 640x480 16 color fractal from 1 hour to about 60 seconds.

I am confused as to what the OP wants to know, 1st PC or the 1st one before current one.

Either way, 1st actuall PC was a Tandy 1000sx.
One before this one was same processor, earlier version of the same board & XP inside of frankintower.

That first PC of mine was the first "true PC" I owned. though my first "Personal Computer" that I bought with my own money was a Vic 20 , before that I pretty much owned the Commodore PET 2001 my dad bought when they first came out when I was in HS.

IBM XT Clone. 20 MB HDD, 5 1/4" floppy drives. Separate (expensive) maths co-processor chip. I thought is was fantastic.
