Small town in Nebraska. We lived in Vancouver, WA area for 20+ years. My husband got sick and wanted to return to his boyhood home. I like the slow pace. I DON'T like tornadoes or snow. I miss our little 2 acre place and all the animals we had, my horse most of all.
Well i live in a small town in Romania. Why? There's nowhere i can go :)))
Plenty of retarded people and not much in the way of jobs. Far from safe to walk around after 11 PM. But there are some things i like about this place
one would be the park. They say it's one of few natural parks in Europe (as in it used to be a forrest, nothing planted)
I live in a small village called Valley, on the Island of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast.
Been here for about six years now and getting itchy feet, so will probably move again within the next year. I used to love being in the RAF, moving around every few years and I just can't get used to being in the same place year after year.
So much to see and so few years left
A few shots of where I'd LIKE to live, but can't afford it - Lulworth Cove in Dorset, England.
We live in farm country in Calif about 30 miles south of the Silicon Valley where places like Apple, HP, Yahoo, Google, Oracle, etc... have their headquarters. I like where we live due to the weather (no snow!) and even though we're close to high tech, we are in the country where we don't deal with traffic and air pollution. I work from home so I don't even commute anymore. Here's a pic of our 2.25 acres:
Strollin, I feel in need of a vacation.
What's your room rate? :)
