The gold turd is for 2000 posts, so that won't stop you.

I think it was a right decision. The system was clearly misused, some members were getting new badges and ranks by telling jokes and gaming tips or how much their machines were OC'd. I think (not sure) that the decision to remove rep scales from NEWS and CHILLOUT ROOM had the same reasoning.

He had spelled it out in a post:

Too many people getting too many rep points for nonsense posts.

However, all those people already 'got theirs', so to speak...

That's probably the same reason that there's no 'Rep-scale' in the comedy threads...

Does make it harder for noobies to get to any kind of badges now.

The 'total to give' was lowered because there has been abuse, at both Forums; that's why rep was removed from chillout and news, with more to come later.

Ok, I have tried every option for getting Windows 7 to install, failed, and decided I was going to go back to Vista. However, I am now getting the same error installing Vista as I have been getting installing Windows 7. So this HAS to be to do with a setting somewhere.. :sarc: Ok, the issue...
