Today i secured a position in an adult education college, where i shall be a volunteer helper/tutor in the computing department.
as the adults will mostly be doing the ECDL course it was thought i should also do it so i can be of more help, and as a volunteer i have been told the fees £160 will be waived as " you help us ,we help you" the lady said.
i am very pleased as i like helping folk and combine that help with computing and its a win win.
    i start Thursday .
    Congratulations Julian!

I have not yet secured my place but have been in talks today regarding teaching adults the fine art of cake baking /decorating.

Congratulations on your new post Julian, and good luck with your task of getting a teaching job Angie, I can't see you having problems after seeing the examples you have shown us here.

I did that also at our local college a few years ago - I finished up a free copy of Microsoft Office 97, loads of text books and more ink for my printer than I knew what to do with. Oh, and the undying love of a dear lady of 92 who was getting to grips with computers for the first time in her life!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it Julian and you will make some new friends too. :)
