Fat Andy? I suppose that'll be a Fandy then.
According to that principle all my ex-wives could call me Fudiot.

I don't like it.

Heh, we use "staycation" here, though it generally means taking time off but not even leaving your home. Usually getting stuff done to your home that you have no time to do because you are always working. I.e. yard work, special home projects, termite work, or maybe just enjoying your home for a bit without worrying about what all you need to get done this weekend etc...

i've never heard that term until now (thanks seavixen )

most brits don't even use the word 'vacation' - it's 'holiday' over here, so it's surprising that it has caught on.

Those were my thoughts as well as I'd never heard the word before, but then holiday isn't in my vocabulary either.

I wish I could afford to take a vacation, or "staycation".....actually, according to how fseal described it, that's what I need. A couple of weeks without work would let me do a lot around here that I need to do, that I am too lazy to do when I have to go to work the same day...lol.

Wow just lost connection, was trying to go to another page and it seemed to be taking a long time looked up at my router and it was trying to establish connection again and I was taken to the BT Broadband help page.

Luckily it only lasted moments and I was back being connected, but it's something that doesn't happen very often so took me by surprise.
