I don't actually work in medicine, but due to my circumstances (carer) - I'm quite familiar with them all and have picked up a thing or five along the way

The morphine is the best for pain, but it is also the most addictive and there is a chance of not only tolerance, but also of dependence. However tolerance does take a while to develop (ie Prolonged usage). For the relatively short term which you are taking them, you should be fine in that regard.

If pain persists, I'd opt for the Tramadol over the morphine if its 'effective' enough in relieving the pain. Tramadol is also used in the treatment of 'weening' off opiates like Morphine, so if you are still taking the morphine - save a few Tramadols when the morphine runs out. (it will ease the 'discomfort and side effects' of going from using opiates to not using them)

Valium tolerance can happen quite quickly, so use as sparingly as possible. Obviously your Doctor will give you the best advice for your situation.

Enjoy your last day of sick leave. It won't take long to not miss work so much

    I see that, Patrick.

I'll make the best way away from all of those unless badly needed. Though it's synthetic, Tramadol is nauseatic and a bit head aching.

    Thanks for the advice

    No worries mate.

Yes, unfortunately Tramadol does have side effects like the ones you described. Especially the headaches.

With most medications, even the antibitocs - it's best to take with food. It can sometimes help a little with the nausea at the least.

For the headache, a little paracetamol at the same time can somewhat diminish the extent of the headaches and neither adversely affect the other.

But as you say, unless you really need them - avoid them when you can :)

Well.. In about 30 hours I'll be taking a ~500 miles trip with 14 friends.. we're going to a beautiful river near Colombia.. Its name is Cinaruco - Capanaparo, we're going to camp there for 6 days.. I'll be returning next Friday, hopefully this trip will be relaxing and mind opening... It'll keep me distracted and letting go the civilization to breath fresh air seems awesome... even though i have a mini-forest in front of my building

I'm so excited to go there..

EDIT: oh, oh.. i'll bring pics
Sounds great, hope you enjoy yourself!

Today, my wife told me that one of her co-workers fell off his ATV and broke a couple bones. The reason he fell off it? He was texting someone while driving it.....
Seriously, what is wrong with people?
