I'm glad there was a witness who upheld your story that makes things so much better when you get to court, it shows you aren't trying to pull a fast one. You take things easy and I hope you recover quickly, just mind the cats don't trip you up or jump on you too hard.
all last night smudge wouldn't leave me alone when i was in bed - he kept trying to massage my wounded area with his front paws. i suppose he's only trying to help in his own way. :)
