There are tons of other pairings, of course...all to be found in the rich and glorious world of fanfiction ;-)

And here i thought only in Japanese manga, fans are into pairings.I never even imagined the same applied to HP novels too.Weird pairings i must say,Snape and Harry eew

@Arc i would prefer someone more powerful than Draco maybe Snivellius Snape
Holy smokes that goes WAY back. :)

/At least/ as far back as the original Star Trek series and probably before that.

Famous then was the Kirk/Spock pairing stories which was abbreviated K/S and such fiction was then called "Slash" fiction because of the A<slash>B format of the naming convention. Nowdays I guess they just run the names together... :)
Yes, fanfiction goes a long way back ;-)) "Slash" fanfiction is now generally used to refer to male/male romance stories, and for female/female fanfics, the term "femslash" is used ;-)

Some time ago I had a friend who looked like a whippet (dog), but acted like a muppet (Spitting Images on TV) so to ensure I got him both ways he was henceforth known as a whuppet - he hasn't forgiven me to this day.
    Whuppet?

Jaidyn, a buzzword in the UK that I absolutely abhor is 'staycation'.

In these times of austerity people are being encouraged to holiday at home i.e. stay in the country for your vacation hence staycation.

English is a wonderful language and it makes me as mad as hell when words are butchered like this.

Staycation? Never heard of that one but it definitely sounds rather odd. What about 'flustrated'?
