Lol, mickey megabyte ;-D
panais, I wish it were my imagination, actually; but alas...no. In one case my friend was a witness, and in this one, there simply was no mistaking that kind of smile and look. Anyway...I still remember your so-called telepathic powers being confined to the world of imagination...Ouchie! ;-)
So, who did what today? (Trying to get the thread topic back on track :-D )
What did I do today?
An elderly neighbour popped her head round the door panicking because she couldn't get her Skype connection to work.
Turned out she'd keyed in the wrong wireless network password - last time I saw her she was chatting to her grandchildren in Dubai telling them all about her wonderful neighbour!!
Sounds a bit like my neighbour, she's 81 and her son had given her a new machine, she'd had a MAC before, the new one is an HP all in one with touch screen plus TV. It's running Windows 7 so it's a whole new learning curve for her and her eyesight is not that good at present.
Well she was having trouble trying to get her emails working plus her Skype was not working, anyhow I set up Windows Live Mail for her but she was still having problems then I sorted out her Skype and got that working for her, well she was like over the moon because she could at last get in touch with family again.
She is getting emails as well but it turns out she is getting them through Outlook, but at least she's getting them and so she's happy now and getting used to using a Windows machine.
Thanks Savior, I thought so too. :)
That's a nice story too, Joan. Computers may be a pain at times, but they are letting us communicate in real time that would have been unthinkable a few years ago.
Thats true Andrew, all her family live up in Yorkshire and her son in London, plus she has one daughter in Australia, she's on her own down here but she's full of life and always on the go.
Well today I've ordered myself a new phone, I'm getting an HTC Wildfire S Smartphone, I'm quite excited about getting a newer version of Android than I have on my LG.
