Cool. Can you give a precise date? What is not "very long? Next week, a year, a decade?

I believe that there is a distinct possibility of intelligent life somewhere in the universe. It's a big place after all.

The form it takes and it's familiarity with Earth? I have no idea.

When the words "intelligent life" and "earth" are used together, I always wonder how politicians fit into the picture.

Of a higher intellect than those that voted them into office.

Do not confuse "higher intellect" with "better at lying".

They are two very different things.

Different yes, but a good politician (liar) needs to be very smart to knows what to say, when to say it and retain plausible deniability. All in a fashion that permits them to retain office year after year, by making their constituents believe that they are something that they are not, despite repeatably being exposed for their true nature.

I would call this as being highly intellectual, but not in a constructive fashion.
