Sure. I believe that the universe is too big for us to be the only life forms but wouldn't say that they're the stereotypical alien that looks like this:

That picture I might add is of a real alien that came and settled on Earth called Brink.

Some of us even got a ride in his ship.
But don't tell anyone it is a secret.

If Brink is alien then it means Windows 7 is like prehistoric OS to him

When I was little, we found a man. He looked like - like, butchered... "El Diablo cazador de hombres."

Only in the hottest years this happens. And this year, it grows hot.

I'll tell you one thing about the universe, though. The universe is a pretty big place. It's bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it's just us... seems like an awful waste of space. Right?
from one of my favourite movies, Contact.

if you're a bit of a geek, i reckon you'll enjoy the movie too...

The rate we are discovering new planets shows that our earth is very unlikely to be entirely unique and hence there is a very real probability of life out there somewhere but in what form is up in the air. As said, it is an awful waste if we are the only semi-intelligent species in the universe - not discounting all the other intelligent life on earth. If humankind did vanish from the face of earth and left the rest intact then it probably wouldn't take long for another species to evolve to much the same point as us. The fact that many other species show intelligence in many ways shows that intelligence does tend to evolve as life becomes more complex. If life does exist elsewhere then it might take a similar route. I tend to believe life elsewhere does exist but I don't bank on ever seeing it!
