@ Antman - True. Though I wouldnt say im concerned about the future of mankind, as you stated, but i do recycle .... so im helping insure that there will be a future for mankind, and an earth left for them to live on.... i guess.

@ ten - you can't care if your dead, that was one point i was trying to make.

@ Muad Dib - It wouldn't matter. we could never know, because if the past were different, we would be different, and totally oblivious to what life as we, right now, know it to be. also ... Dune kicks a**

im not arguing, arguing on the net is retarded. i was stating an opinion, and didnt expect to get dissected like a frog. maybe i'll keep em to myself from now on.

How does a creature bound by a two-dimensional universe explain us? Are we not gods?
This assumes the ability to use reason.

The arch, when used in construction, is considered to be an indicator of a more advance technology in pre-history civilizations by some historians. Yet the humble ant uses the arch in constructing its underground habitats.

Did the ant develop the arch through reason or by a Darwinian trial and error process of evolution?

Should the earth be visited by alien archaeologists a million years from now and the human species has all gone to meet its maker, what will they hypothesize about us?

Unless time travel becomes more than theory, there will be precious little to explore from our time ....

Sad, but true. Most of the more highly advanced thinkers in human history have been dispossessed of what their contemporaries considered common sensibilities. Yet, their marks remain. An uncommon feat.
