I am a big fan of Hitchcock, but to me "The Birds" was not scary at all. Just about all of his others I liked. Rear Window was one of my favorites. == On a strayed subject, remember about 30 years ago when this big fad started about Colorizing old black and white movies. Very few were ever done. I believe Casablanca was, but the fad dropped out as soon as it started.

Remastered - It's basically the same thing you would get if you carefully dubbed a very good copy of the VHS tape to DVD (which may actually be what they did!).

The scariest part of Birds was the discovery of the guy who had his eyes pecked out. Still all nail biters and suspenseful.

One of my favourite classics is Gone With The Wind starring Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh.

Gone with the Wind (1939) - IMDb

My wife thinks I'm mad for watching such an old film, but I'm just a sentimental old fart who likes to wallow in nostalgia. :)

I imagine that is just her way of objecting to the specific movie, but when it comes to movies, viva la classicos! Ergo, nostalgia es muy bueno!

"Classical alive! Ergo, nostalgia is great!"

    I'll agree with that 100%!
