hi i am confused that windows 8 is coming so soon!
It does not really add anyhting new and does everything windows 7 does!
Will we get a discount as we own windows 7!

Its hardly coming soon. Windows 7 was released almost 3 years ago...give or take a month or two.

No one is going to force you to use Win 8.
Keep 7 if you like. You don't need to change.
I have no intention of using 8 unless I were to get something new that already had it preinstalled.

SinBin; Windows 8 is coming as windows 7 is around 3 years old and Microsoft is a for-profit company. :)

Keep in mind, you (likely) won't ever see a situation like XP again( being around for so long). 3 or 4 years is plenty of time for a new OS.
It's all for profit, and if Win8 can do what they want it to do (multiple-cross platform) it is just another way
to rake in some cash.

No cash is evil!wins 8 will be the same as windows 7!both support touch screen screens!both are trying to look like a apple!
I think a OS should have atleast 6 years of life,,vista jumped to win 7 ,and now win 8 in a short period of time!
I am not very happy with this!
I hope windows 8 wont be exclusive of the new dx version!as i will then blow a fuse!

True about the touch screens, but keep in mind,a lot has changed since 7 was released. All of the newer gadgets and things that can run touch screens now need a more polished OS, not just a "good enough" version. Windows 8 won't be just for PCs. There's more out there now than just that.
