Hi-Gain Wireless antenna recommendation?

    I have the [HWU8DD-B] Hi-Gain™ USB Wireless-G Dish Adapter it will work with windows 7 downloaded the vista driver from the hawking tech website I use this to grab my neghbors connection and he has given me permision todo so and i get his signal from 500-800ft away

    Yes, and no. That adapter just picks the signal better, reaches beyond a normal WiFi adapters range to see if there is something to pick. The bars indicating the signal strenght tell how strong your adapter picks the signal, not how strong the signal is sent from the router.
