    Ancient Computers in Use Today


    From 1970s minicomputers used for military programs (including nuclear weapons) to an IBM punch-card system still keeping the books at a Texas filter supplier, these are the computers that time forgot.

    We used PDP/8s and/11s then although I was not conversant with their operation apart from knowing how to boot them - toggling the quaint keys - haha! Paper-tape and punched cards, hehe - how we have progressed! Seemed quite reliable though.
