    i forgot about the other dial-up problems apart from speed - it ties up your phone line, and you're paying by the second!

    This thread already depresses me, everyone's got hi-speed but me!

    Oh, thats a nice top-speed Jacee, is a shame you rarely see it. :|

    I hate it, I live in a small town where our internet is slow to begin with. When I go visit friends in a city I always am like wow. The internet is way faster. Here if you live out of town you need dialup and a friend has to use it. Poor guy it can take 5 minutes to load a single page.

    Have to thank you, Ken, for that Netlimiter tip a couple of weeks ago, chatting on SevenGadget. Netlimiter really solved my problem, I can now assign the bandwidth how I like.

    Thanks for the signature compliment. Decided to keep it simple instead of a distracting picture one.

    I could try the Mobile alternative but we live around hills so signals for cell phones are usually at 1 bar here. Cut out a lot
