    Data Usage?

I got curious and enabled the data tracking feature of Windows 8 to see how much data I am using. I'm not on a metered connection, so it doesn't matter that but much, but its interesting. In the past 6 days, I've apparently transferred a total of 31 GB. I'm curious to know how much other people have been using if you have kept any track of it.

If that had been me I would have had to pay excess, I altered my connection from Unlimited to the 20 GB package as the highest I ever went in one month was 13 GB, but I think I'm mainly around the 10 GB a month mark.

What have you been downloading ?

Last month was high at 57Gb. Lots of ISO downloads as I rebuilt my VMs. It is normally half that.

I don't need Windows 8 for data tracking, my ISP does it for me...or perhaps I should say against me. However, since my cable connection is somewhat low (only 3.3mbps) my 50GB cap usually suffices.

One game I downloaded today was about 14 GB in size on Steam. Between Steam downloads, and various Linux and Technet ISOs... thats why.

Edit: Approaching 40 GB now. I dont want to know what I would have to pay if I were on a metered connection...
