I am currently stuck with an Acer desktop where every piece of the hardware is outdated. However, it can still do some simple task.

Hello. My name is Bruce and I'm a PC-holic.

    I have too many computers:

2 IBM PCs (oldest from 1981, IBM's first PC)
    IBM XT
    Compaq Portable (Compaq's first product)
    IBM Convertible (IBM's first laptop)
Toshiba T3100 laptop (old 286 laptop)
    Tandy TRS80 Model 100
    2 IBM P70 Portables (386 portable)
2 IBM IntelliStation Z Pro servers
    Dell Dimension 4100 desktop
    Dell Dimension XPS 8100 desktop
    Dell Inspiron laptop
    Dell Latitude laptop
    2 Acer Aspire netbooks
    Asus eeePC netbook

That's the "brand" computers I own. In addition I have 4 custom builts around the house.

I've been trying to cut back so in the past 6 months I sold:

    IBM Portable
    Tandy TRS80 Model 1
    2 IBM ATs
    IBM XT/286
    2 IBM PCjrs

    I gave away:

    Acer Aspire netbook
    Custom built XT clone
    Custom built 386
    eMachines P3

I wish my parts collection could fit in a closet but unfortunately it isn't even contained within a spare bedroom in the house but also spreads to other rooms in the house and even out to the barn in the back! It's taken me 28 years to accumulate all this stuff (got my first PC in 1984, built my first in 1985), I really need to get rid of a lot of it.

Nice collection How do you like those Dell Dimensions? I have a Dell Dimension 5100. The only part that has failed is the sound card. They are really reliable machines.

    I've got three currently.

-My custom rig under system specs is my workhorse/gaming system.
-My media center PC is my previous custom build. (i3, Radeon HD 5990, 4GB Corsair)

And my laptop, Asus ROG G74SX, replaced the HDD with dual 240GB OCZ Vertex 2 SSDs in raid 0. This is my travel workhorse.
