Advice on pricing for selling a laptop

I'm looking to sell my laptop (and then upgrade to a newer one); my question is, what's it worth? I went on eBay to see if I could find comparable laptops, and check their starting bids, but nothing matched up. So I come here to ask, what's a fair price for a 3-year old Toshiba with cosmetic wear only, with these specs:

    Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 2.80GHz
    8GB DDR2 RAM
    750GB 5400rpm HDD
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 1GB discrete graphics
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64
    backlit keyboard
    model: A500-ST6621

I use Craigslist as a guide but be prepared to be shocked, computers are second only to furniture for dropping like a stone in value. Have you considered a tax deductible donation like to a school or the like? You may be able to claim a higher value and pick up a write off while doing some real good.

I'm afraid I won't be much help with specifics, but as a general rule when pricing computer stuff for resale I always try and take into account what a person could get for the same (or a little more) money when buying a similar item new.
