    Hurricane Bill still strong ...

Bill still strong but less organized.

Hurricane Bill, although still a major hurricane, has a more ragged appearance and has weakened slightly. Maximum sustained winds near the center now at 115 mph. Bill remains a category 3 hurricane.

Bill will continue moving over warm waters, and remain a dangerous hurricane, possibly gaining back some strength later today into tonight as it churns in the western Atlantic.

Hurricane Bill is located 385 miles South of Bermuda, while continuing to move quickly off to the northwest. Bill should make a more northerly turn later today.

Maybe we ought to see if uncle Bill can do anything.

I used to live in the Carolinas. Beautiful scenery, if you can get past all those damn storms. Batten down the hatches my southern fried friends. it might get ugly in the next few days.

Hope it skips you BFK. best of luck

Thanks mate; it's forecasted to go north missing the US coast almost entirely.

We were watching Bill with skeptical eyes down here in the hinterlands..( west coast of Florida ) and decided that we weren't even going to get a good breeze out of this... I hope that the rest of my East Coast friends fare as well...

Hurricane Hillary would be a bit more threatening.

Update: Hurricane Bill has missed the east coast of the US and is now headed to the coast on Newfoundland as a category 1 hurricane.
