I replied (to this one) asking this to stop, as they are starting to get annoying. This is the 8th email of this nature. If they continue, should I start reporting this to the police or no?

lmao it is just another scam email wanting you to hand over cash...I doubt the police will be able to do much so just delete it

I know it was a scam thus the reason I didn't take up the offer (everyone here could use $25k I'm sure lol). I'll just ignore them for now.

Worse thing you could do is reply. Make your email hard for a computer to guess, keep your it off the net, off newbies address books and off insecure websites and you will get 0 spam.

Well 4 out of the 8 emails appeared in my Junk box, but I always check that box in case I missed something. =P

Not a good idea to open up junk mail, especially something your not sure is good. They can bring in some really nasty Trojans, Worms, or Viruses. Some are designed to get past your AV or Malware programs, and set dormant until you do a restart or run a specific program. If your email says this is junk then delete it, not read it. :)

I didn't mean I always read them, I ment I always check (email address and subject) but those I tend to open for some odd reason. If I ever get any problems I just reformat so it doesn't bother me much. =P
Suppose I should just stop reading them emails.

dont reply. This is a scam where they try and get you all excited about recieving a multi-million dollar inheritance. But then all of a sudden they say something like "Wait, we need $5,000 to bribe so and so so we can get you your money." If you send them the $5k they will make up more excuses. Trying to get as much money from you as possible. You should report it, I can't remember the american site but try googling the site for your county.
