First Personal Computer was an Amiga PET 2001 with 16k ram.

First "PC" was a 286/10 10/12 Mhz, 1 meg of ram and a 20 meg HD.
[Edit] And thatwas an insanely powerful step up from the XTs I was using at work Especially when I added the 287 coprocesor a few months later.

The first PC that I used regularly was an 8088 IBM-XT clone that I went to college (1993-1997) with running DOS 5.x and Word Perfect for DOS with a dot-matrix printer.

During college, I purchased with my own money, a 486SX-25mhz with 4mb of RAM and a 170MB Connor hard drive and it also had a state of the art 2x CDROM drive as well.
