    Hello to who reads this message im gareth im looking for a new lap top coz the one i got is slugging abit now i use it for djing i use virtual dj and mix hd music videos on two 50'' tv as well as music now my lap top is acer aspire 8735 its got 8gb ram 1gb graphics nvidi and its intel (R)core (tm) 2duocpu p7450 @2.13ghz its 64 bit operating system gaming graaphics is 4606mb not sure if that has anything to do with it lol now they all go well till i start searching for stuff on my laptop makes the video go slow voice dont line with singer which is the best solution im looking for 18' screen laptop and the rest would like to no from experts all help would be greatly appritated thank you

    ps my mate brought his i7 round and that struggled to even play a music video threw 50' tv

    You shouldn't need a lot of power to play a video on a 50" TV. There are some small, set top boxes, built with Intel Atom processors that can output full HD video. An i7 is many more times powerful than an Atom.

    What player are you using to watch the video on? What video format are the HD files?

    When it starts struggling, are you running the DJ apps and mixing at the same time?

    As mentioned, it doesn't take much grunt to play HD files.

    im using virtual dj to play all music and video files its when i go back to my main screen and searching for files it slows down the hd files are 1080 and some 720 files whats slowing me down ram i got 8 gb nvidi graphics 1gb thanks for the message
