Breakfast is my favorite meal.. I eat like a farmer on Saturday mornings.
Scrambled egg, 2 sliced of buttered wheat toast,5 or 6 slices of bacon or a slice of
cooked ham, a sliced fresh tomato, 1 biscuit plus sawmill gravy ( Mike knows about this ),
8oz. O J, fresh coffee , 8 vitamins/mineral tablets , 2 oatmeal cookies ( McDonald's) 2 dark chocolate oblong pieces from a huge Hershey's chocolate bar, I buy those on sale, as much fresh brewed sweet ice tea as I want. .. No lunch .
Dinner is late afternoon around 6pm.

Depends on the day, usually it's some cereal and some toast with a tea if I'm going to college or have to be somewhere, otherwise it's like 3 teas (sometimes coffee if I'm tired) toast, cereal and a banana.

The weekends are usually something which is fried and with buttered bread, and yet more tea and coffee

I know, we're talking about breakfast, but my lunch is some kind of soup, a sandwich from anything in the fridge, more tea or juice, sometimes a Monster, or a pasty/pork-pie/pizza.

I eat lots of pasta most of the time, as I'm 1/4 Italian and 1/4 Scottish (:

We always just called it sausage gravy...so as not to be confused with hamburger gravy.

    Same gravy different meat.
A pound of hamburger gravy and a loaf of bread plus a veggie can sure be "stretched" at dinner time just add more gravy for more mouths.

    Before my time.
Back during WWII all the men were in the service my Dad lived with the rest of the family Aunts, cousins, grandparents the entire family. in McGehee, Ark.
The war was on but the depression wasn't over in rural Arkansas.

He told me that sometimes it was referred to as "Passover Gravy".
There was so much gravy for all the mouths the meat was just passed over the skillet at breakfast.
The meat might make it in the pot for supper.

Just a tad of Scottish in me - Ferguson was grandma.

My breakfast is 8 1/2 pills followed half an hour later by a food chaser. The food can be instant oatmeal, a TV dinner, or leftovers (whatever's convenient).

If eating out for breakfast (rarely unless I'm on the road), I eschew places that serve a breakfast menu only. When I used to work third shift, when I got off work, I wanted supper, not breakfast, but most places only served traditional breakfast menus at that time. I quickly became soured on hen fruit based breakfasts and still rarely eat them.
