I did once "almost" break a multi million Pound Steel Mill

but I found the bug in my software with about a minute to spare before the safety systems shut everything down

Phew!!! that was a close one

I will admit to a few things being returned to the manufacturer as "Faulty on receipt" which probably had more to do with my playing than any manufacturing defect

My friend does that with stuff. He bought a laptop and it wasn't working fast enough for him so he just punched it and put a huge dent in the casing. He tried to return it, but they just fixed it instead.

This is the same friend who bought a $4000 alienware computer, then complained because it didn't work well and never used it.
He wants a Mac now, but doesn't have the money. Lol.

He can donate it to me (the alienware) :) I'm so poor I cannot even afford a new USB!

    Haha.

He sold it on eBay I think. Don't know for how much, but it was not $4000.

Yeah.. I killed my RAM on a desktop I had a while back. Bought a 1GB, swapped the stickers, returned the old 512mb in its place. Free upgrades ftw!

    Thanks by the way. :)

Probably not the most honest thing to do, or admit to.
