Here's what is REALLY scary: this particular ad may be a spoof, but these products really do exist, and apparently some people actually use them. Supposedly, they fall under the umbrella of having an office in your car (for people who work out of their cars rather than an office), and aren't supposed to be used while driving. But you KNOW that some people probably do use them while driving, just like people text while driving, read while driving, and do all kinds of other things while driving.

I am totally blind and now that I have the Wheelmate Steering Wheel Tray, I can keep my fingers on my Braille map while driving
and don't have to worry about getting lost anymore. Even though I don't know where I usually am when I get there, it's comforting to know I am in the general area. Most blind people just sit at home complaining that they can't do anything, well NOW YOU CAN. get out on the road and Hear the world."
