Any tips on money saving Gaming/3D design Laptop?

    Hi guys,

Ok so i currently run desktop, i7 920, 1gb ati gpu....basically its great for gaming + 3D design + rendering (I study architecture so i like a powerful rig for this)

Anyways i need to get a laptop too, and i dont wanna spend more than £550, preferably cheaper because i know it can be done.

I've done some research and i generally go by the cpu and gpu benchmarks to see how they perform(i assume they are reliable?), plus i'll watch youtube vids of gpu's in action.

Obviously i want something powerful (2nd/3rd gen i processors OR amd but they seem harder to come by for laptops) for rendering aswell as 1gb dedicated gpu for 3d stuff.

This is what ive done so far and what i've found to be the best option.

#1 Surprisingly best so far is brand new from pc specialist

    i7 3610 (benchmark of 8414)
    1gb nvidia GT 630m
    4gb ddr3
NO os (i can get one for £40 student)

I wont go into the other components it's not relevant

    Total price £536

here's the link but u will have change the choices of components probably
    http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/genesisIV/

this seem quite low price considering the power of that cpu no?

#2 I've tried ebay aswell which is hit or miss really, and tbh it could take ages to find a really good deal and when i do it will prob be for about £450 (from what ive seen) so i may aswell get brand new.

#3 I've tried novatech, dabs, aria and ebuyer, but ive found nothing as good as the pc specialist configuration i made.

So any tips or websites im missing out here would be really really helpful,

    sorry for long post

any help is really appreciated :)
    thanks
