On September 19, 1979, I was writing the date... 9/19/1979. I thought to myself, "Wow, one day, it will be 9/19/1991." I started looking forward to that day. As each year passed, I came to think of September 19 as a special day.

In 1991, I shared the story with a co-worker. When the day arrived, I did not notice. As I walked past my co-worker's office, she called out - "Hey, Antman, it's your favorite day!"

I paused, momentarily confused, and in a flash of realization - "Oh, yeah. So it is!"

The office manager was walking by and she asked, "Oh, yeah? Is it your birthday?"

Well, the Antman is not one to allow opportunity to knock without being fleeced. "Sure. It is."

A couple of hours later, the Antman was enjoying cake and punch with the whole corporate office. I was treated to lunch. I was treated to drinks and hot wings after work.

9/19/1991 turned out to be a day well worth looking forward to.

There is, of course, more to this story.

Wednesday after 'Labor Day' will allow checks dated: 09/09/09

After the following three years, this won't be possible for a while...

How about "... the rest of the story"?

    I'm holding my breath for 09/09/09 09:09:09

I wont say why as it may offend or even scare people

At least, here in the UK anyway....
