I bring up Blu-Ray because of the size it has and the ability to make games much more than just a "sandbox" if the developer puts their mind to it. Like I said earlier, GTA 4 would've been a completely different game if it wasn't the limitations of the HD-DVD format and Rockstar admitted it, so they had to compromise somewhere to be "equal".

For techies, yes who cares, but the majority of gamers probably don't know how to do that, or they don't have a laptop, or laptop doesn't have wifi built in, different variables.

I've read that the only HD that is capatible with Xbox 360 is Western Digital BEV model line or something like that. I'm thinking about swapping my laptop HDD which is 160GB and put the 120GB in this computer since I rarely use more than 30GB of space.

Speaking of Metal Gear Solid, I'm a HUGE MGS fan but only played the original Metal Gear Solid on PS1 back in 1998 when I like 9 years old and beat the crap outta that game more than 20 times probably. Sad I never had chance to play MGS2 or 3, but I MAY look to MGS4, I just wanna go in the chronical order of things that happened in the story.
I would reccomend playing MGS3->MGS1->MGS2->MGS4....as the story is in that order

I think Kojima should've had a better drawing board team. The guy in MGS3 is old and resembles the guy in MGS1, I keep thinking they're the same person, but according to people who have played the series, they aren't. But what are the specific dates? do you know?

MGS3 takes place in the 60's, 1 is in the 90's, 2 is in the 2X1X's, 4 is in sometime
the series is in a chronological blender.

even more confusing is that the guy from 1,2,4 is a clone of the guy from #3. and Ryden (is ghey) is also a product of genetic engineering, but i think he is cloned from Liquidis Snake.... it's a mess. Read all this junk to get a better idea.

Twin Snakes is the gamecube remake of the first one (on ps1) with more stuffing. Portable Ops is the 'sequal' to MGS3, and P.O.Plus is like a mutiplayer expansion of MGSPo (its standalone).

Metal Gear Ac!d (aso on psp) is the only one i dont know too much about. it's a turn based card game, type thing.

    confussed yet? i am.

MGS3 chronicles the story of Big Boss from back in the 60's and his rise to become America's greatest soldier and hero (The Perfect Soldier that Solid Snake was cloned from...Snake still considers him his dad). Liquid Snake is a clone also (hence being Snake's brother). Solidus Snake is also a clone(I know....clone clone clone....even though Solidus was a 1:1 clone). MGS1 chronicles Solid Snake's adventure into Shadow Moses Island to confront his brother Liquid. MGS2 takes place a bit after MGS1 and chronicles Snake and Raiden's infiltration of GW to stop Solidus' ambitions. MGS4 takes place after MGS2 in 2014 and portrays how the world has erupted into proxy wars

BTW Raiden isn't a clone...he was outfitted with cybernetic enhancements (most noticeable being his exoskeleton)

....whew I hope that clears things up a bit

Kojima couldn't have picked more confusing character names, they all sound the same to me. It's been so long since I played MGS1. But aren't you all forgetting the first 2 of the series on NES and SNES?

I know Twin Snakes is a remake of MGS1 since I was freaking excited about it when I first heard of it coming out when I had a GameCube, but since it's a different game alltogether from the original first, there has to be new tidbits for the story?
