He was in a number of westerns between the early 50s into the early 70s. I was only a little guy and can always remember the sitcom he was in(McHale's Navy) watching that on black and white tv. Joe Flynn and Tim Conway added tto he flavor in the constant "get out of trouble with the captain" slapstick at times type humour seen in that old series.
